Numerology puts the pieces of the puzzle together
My reading was quite exhausting and the amount of information given mind boggling. She was scarily accurate and asked many questions. I later learned that asking questions helps to ascertain how a certain number is playing itself out. Your free will on earth allows you to make choices every step of the way. Each number has a positive, negative or destructive. On any given day we could apply each in any way or fluctuate from the one to the other. You know how it goes. You go to work with good intentions (positive), then someone pushes your buttons and you let rip or sulk, (negative) and perhaps the next step is to “get them back” or even revenge (destructive)… Your personality number (what other people see of you, your career, health, how you think, act and project) has not changed. You allow it to go from one extreme to the next, depending on how far down the road to being your authentic self you are. That is why a numerologist will ask questions. She is not psychic, merely intuitive and will put bits of the puzzle together from what you tell her.
Well, what an eye-opener to see things in perspective. I did not like the way I was reacting to certain situations but was given alternatives (the positive side of each). My reason for being on earth made me smile as I had suspected it for a while. The confirmation was awesome. The reading gave so much more as well… More than I can get into now.
She added my parents to the picture. Parents (and sometimes step parents or lack of parents) are a huge part of your formative years and the moral grounding you get. What did I learn from each? You are supposed to learn the good things from them and learn FROM the bad, to see the negative effects of their actions and the effect it has on others. You may have had the experience of doing something not so great and thinking: “Oh, my gosh! I have turned into my mom/dad”. Sometimes we copy their bad behaviour as that is the frame of reference we have. We looked at many aspects of their lives and I gained a greater understanding of how, like the rest of us, they are not perfect. She focused my attention on their wonderful qualities and encouraged me to learn all that I could. It gave me wonderful insight to the amazing people they were and to see past the hurts and disappointments that had affected them as they do all of us.
We looked at career possibilities as I was at a crossroads with everything. She mentioned that, apart from everything, I would make an excellent numerologist. You can imagine my surprise. When you are choosing a career, Numerology is not something that EVER pops up on a list. Nor is it something that your parents are likely to encourage and fund when you leave school. It is something that seems to evolve later on in life when you have been through the mills, as I have, and have a better understanding of life from many perspectives. I would not have been able to do this 30 years ago. It seems to come as an answer to a crisis as many of the metaphysics and healing alternatives do.
Anyhow, we looked at karma and how it had affected me; discussed things I was never to repeat in order to overcome them. The thing about karma is that once you know what it is, you can work through it in about 3 days. Once it is in your conscious mind you can never ignore it again. You have to face it and deal with it.
We looked at my marriage, why I had chosen my husband, what I was to learn from it and how we could function as a team. We brought my children into the picture and I learned how to better communicate with each based on their individual numerology. I saw their karma and where they could go wrong in life. I could, however, not save them from themselves. They had to go through what they had to go through. I learned what they had come to learn from me… Talk about suddenly having a purpose in life! It was there all along but I could not see it.
As I write further over the next few months, I will slowly get to all the aspects covered in an in-depth numerology reading. I will attempt to give you a better understanding of things that I have learnt and just about life in general.
See you soon…
